Artistic Expressions

Small sculptures around the fountain in Confederation Park are newly made each weekend in Winterlude, to give visitors a chance to see the process, as the competitive sculptures are only done on the first weekend. Here is more from 2018.

Throughout Winterlude, one might find carvers doing demonstrations, carving sculptures and talking about the process to onlookers as they go along. The finished product will tend to be transported over to join the others at the fountain. Others are standalone sculptures that remain where they were created.
