Flower Delight

Continuing on where I left off yesterday, here are more of those tulips.

One of the beds is less densely planted, which gives single or pairs of tulips a chance to shine among the bushes planted in the bed.

A large sculpture is also present in this bed.

The next bed is the large raised circular bed, with two kinds in it this year, the Canada 150 tulip and one with a dominant red.

  1. It must have taken a long time to plant all the tulip bulbs. I wonder how they preserved the bulbs in the winter.

  8. @Nancy: they're planted in October and do quite well over the winter. Some beds do get protective snow fencing around them.
