That is so sweet! Inexplicable indeed. One day we'll probably all live in a parched desert and old people will remember that they disliked winter and wonder why... :-)
Wonderful window display, William. It's never good ... for some people winter is too cold and too long, for other people winter can't be cold and long enough ...
There is a lot of truth in these tidbits of wisdom! Winter may be a lot of fun, as you've shown us in your photos of skaters on the river, but enough is enough. It doth appear that a lot of frustration comes through in these signs. Let spring be upon us!
I just think that since Spring is just 4 days away that these little critters are says 'we are ready to move on'. You have shown us some wonderful winter scenes---specially for us on the west coast--we don't get winter as seen through your eyes. MB
I think many people and critters have had it with THIS winter. At lest here in the States. Storms and more storms Just lining up, it is just too much. I just read about how ducks are being brought into clinics with injuries from not finding food because of all the ice and snow.
Ha! That is so cute. I have to agree. After getting out for a nice walk on my trail last week, I'm not too happy that this week we have more snow again.
Thanks for a great giggle William!!! I can so relate to these wonderland creatures!!! Winter is for the birds!!! I'm about done with snow...wish the mountain was too!!!
You know that I agree with every placard held by every cute animal! Nice series, for sure, William.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh, William, the signs are hilarious! "Winter is baaaaad" and "Bring Spring." Love the display window!
ReplyDeleteCreative decorated window..... display.( It is too early to think in English) Anyway, I like it, and it would have made me stop and look too!:)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Rodney Dangerfield was doing store windows now.

I know why some don`t like winter. Nice animals. No more hibernate, is my best.
ReplyDeleteFunny! So cute and I agree; I am ready for spring. But snow is coming down here in Virginia so I will hibernate for a while.
ReplyDeleteAha! So there ARE some Canadians who eagerly await spring!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! They are definitely looking forward to spring.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny display! I don't like winter neither... Fortunately the Austrian winter has been abnormally mild...
ReplyDeleteMy kind of people! Of course, being in the desert, it is already spring here.
ReplyDeleteImagine! (I'm with the bunny)
ReplyDeleteOdd isn't it? :) Actually, while I long for spring, I really don't mind the snow when it's still fresh and beautiful.
ReplyDeletePerhaps these storeowners need another word, relocate. After all, it is still winter and they are located in Canada, right?
ReplyDeleteHa! That is so cute. I have to agree. After getting out for a nice walk on my trail last week, I'm not too happy that this week we have more snow again.
