Yes, I Have A Slightly Twisted Sense Of Humour

At my writer's blog I started making use of the website Imgflip to create memes for pics (mostly for posts about a certain crack smoking former mayor of Toronto, but often for other things). I started on occasion doing the same with my pics here in the photoblog, adding memes into pics. These five are my favourite in that category from 2014.

  3. The dog is a clever animal and a great friend of man. I had a german shepherd for 16 years.

  8. It looks like you had a very good year. I like the second photo as it takes a second to get it. People who've never read the book would never get it.

    @Orvokki: and it's in the most beautiful room in the city- the library of Parliament.

    @Tomas: they're good companions.

    @Revrunner: I wouldn't put anything past the dolt in the Prime Minister's office.

  12. :D Thanks for sharing these again. They are all quite funny, but the mental picture evoked by the Prime Minister one really got me laughing out loud. Have a great day!

  13. Funny! Especially the dog finding out about the Hound of the Baskervilles!

  14. I love 'em all, as you know. And no, your sense of humor is not skewed at all; it's right on! Your skewering of the former mayor of the great city of Toronto was priceless! You should receive the key to the city for what you did!

  15. @Sharon: thanks!

    @Grace: thank you!

    @Virginia: thank you!

    @Anita: he'd be just the sort to do that.

    @Cheryl: if you approach that book from another point of view, the dog is the hero, and all his good work is undone by that meddling detective from Baker Street.

    @Lowell: the day that crack smoking alcoholic finally shuffles off his mortal coil, I will ignore the usual instinct to not speak ill of the dead, and instead fall about laughing.

  18. i agree with the book saying - i find it very difficult to make time. i really enjoy camping for that reason. i get away from the tv and feel i don't have as much to do so - books come in handy more during that time. not that i watch a ton of tv. but i guess i need to prioritize better. ha. ha!! ( :

    i bet you are not a fan but i just found out that Netflix has out Dallas Season 3, so that is what i am doing this weekend. never really watched the old show. only the new ones. they are more my style. have a nice weekend.

  20. Love your humor, but then, why wouldn't I? I'm the one that writes Twisted Tales.

  21. @Jose: my mother, bless her soul, would wonder about my sense of humour and wonder where that came from. It certainly isn't from Dad's side!

    @Eve: thank you!

    @RedPat: I wonder if I'll come across her again in May. She's certainly a local.

    @Kay: as do I.

    @Beth: my friend Norma likes that show!

    @Ciel: it's such a fitting sentiment!

    @Mari: thank you!

  23. I think Ford is dying, once someone like him gets cancer, the body tends to produce more. That'll put him out of our misery.
    I agree with the PMO sentiments. Profits over environment is the least of it.
    Is that your dog? Ever cute!

  25. @Randy: thanks!

    @Peter: you're welcome.

    @Jennifer: the day that crack smoking thug died was a day that pleased me. May he rot in hell forever. And may his brother Doug join him in the not so distant future. Hopefully the same cancer strikes again in that family of inbred white trash scum.

    @Linda: thanks!

    @EG: you're welcome.
