This inuksuk is on the grounds at Rideau Hall. These are a hallmark of the far north and the Inuit.
Some last shots along the way.
Here we have the main gates.
I took shots again of the roundabout with the statue of Queen Elizabeth at its heart.
Back along Sussex Drive I went, headed towards the parkland around Green Island.
This park is lovely in all seasons.
Interesting fact about the Inuit.
ReplyDeleteLove the Inuit sign explaining stuff
ReplyDeleteGreat the Inuit are present. Love the colors. Here we had a wee bit of snow and according to my PC it´s -6C/21F. Brrr....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, the colors are lovely. I love that the stone markers are created by the Inuit, the people. Take care, have a happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad fact that I have never visited the far north, and at this stage in my life I doubt that I ever will.
ReplyDelete@Italiafinlandia: indeed.
