Wonder Of An Imagination

A look back up the slope at the gardens and the house here at the Mackenzie King Estate.

Half buried here is another oddity- what appears to be the mantle of an old fireplace, now serving as a bench.

The next large folly is the Arc de Triomphe, taken from a building demolished in the 1930s and transplanted here.

The path leads on to the Abbey Ruins, a combination of pieces from various buildings that evoke the feeling of an ancient ruin.

Another quote by King alongside the path as we close in on the Abbey.

  11. King was a totally different human. It's good thing there are individualists in this world.
