Compare this first shot to the autumn header I'm using at the moment. The boulder in the path gives it away as the same location. The path splits here, with the one at right heading towards the rose garden.
The garden is framed by a large hedge wall on one side and a curving columned arch on the other.
But first before going in, these fall colours beckoned me.
The garden has multiple different types of roses in various beds, with some still showing on this October day.
Fallen leaves on top of a low hedge of evergreen caught my eye.
