Viva Pancho Libre

Pancho Libre is a Mexican busker who has come to be a regular at Buskerfest in recent years. His act is a mix of comedy, acrobatics, and high balance. All with a sombrero. I started photographing early in the act as he was bantering with his growing audience and setting out his stage, and wound up taking a lot of shots.

What he's doing here is assembling what will be his finale, which includes climbing that contraption of sections.

  1. There seems to be an informal international buskers' circuit of the world - here in Cambridge UK I often see buskers from all parts of the globe.

  11. Wow! Fun photos! He had attracted quite a crowd. I hope he did well when he passed around his hat to the crowd for a donation.

    1. It took some minutes before I was able to get by him to contribute. But very well worth it.
