Promoting Your Farm Produce

A series of display panels looks at period advertising for promoting seeds for crops.

Farming has come a long way, with high-tech lending a hand.

One more look up at the hayloft.

This tractor is mock up at the front, with the real thing behind. The windshield is in fact a view screen, with the entire thing a simulator for driving the real one. There was a line up to give it a try, but I wanted to photograph it.

Some of life's best pleasures.

  1. Love your new banner photograph!

Driving a tractor would be fund. Nice displays. Old advertising art has a lot of charm.

  3. A fun tractor. Still a few working farms near me. One dates back 700 years. Although it has changed owners a few times. I had coffee there with the local historical society a few years ago as the current farmer told us about his life at the farm. He can be very funny also, what are you growing on that field? His answer was short, viagra.

  5. Imagine living on a farm and eating fresh food, food closest to it's natural form, everyday! Followed by processed chocolate for dessert!

  6. Fresh if the farm is always the best. We buy most of our produce from local Mennonite farmers.

  8. Looks interesting. It’s kind of amusing to think of people lining up to drive a pretend tractor.

  10. Beautiful and informative post! More evidence chocolate must be good for us--especially since Canadian scientists paid for a huge excursion and dig-- to Ecuador.
