Back out I came among the various displays about canola.
This large sculpture of canola bottles had moving parts. White marbles were traveling down the looping sections around it, and can be seen at centre, where they are on a spiraling line projecting them back upward to the top to start the whole process all over again.
Back outside, with a look at the Dairy Barn again from the outside.
The Small Animals Barn, where I was headed next.
And the Horse and Cattle Barn.
The donkeys were still engaged in lunch.
That canola bottle tower is looking very cool
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteThey are useful even for pet therapy.
ReplyDeleteTrue.
DeleteIt will be a while before I can see blooming canola fields. Can't remember the last time I saw a donkey.
ReplyDeleteThere were a couple on the farm behind my place keeping the cows company where I grew up.
DeleteCanola coming into flower here just now. Donkey rides used to be a thing at our seaside resorts.
ReplyDeleteNot so much here.
DeleteThe donkeys take their time.
ReplyDeleteThey do!
DeleteThat's a very pretty farm ! You won't find such here, but I saw similar farms in Wisconsin USA where my aunt lived, long time I wasn't here, Google has made a mess with this new comment system ! I never get blogger emails either and I have changed the parameters like they want !
ReplyDeleteI've grown up among farms.
Delete...those blue Harvestore silos have become relics of the past.
ReplyDeleteIn some ways.
DeleteThere is something uniquely appealing about donkeys.
ReplyDeleteI agree.

DeleteLooks like a tidy farm. Very Nice.

DeleteI would be most interested in seeing the horses. What kind of horses did they have?
ReplyDeleteI should have photographed labels more, but at least one hanoverian.
DeleteVery cool idea for a working sculpture.
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteLooks like an interesting place.
ReplyDeleteVery much so.
DeleteCanola was an improvement over rapeseed! And kiwi fruit sounds better than Chinese gooseberry!
ReplyDeleteTrue!
