On the day in February when I went over to the Museum, I crossed the river on the Alexandria Bridge. I paused for this shot of Parliament Hill. By the way, it looks a lot different now; I was down in the area on Friday, and aside from ice beneath this bridge, the river was open and high.
The walk along the bridge allows for many photographic opportunities of the river. I'll come here again in the summer.
Leaving the Museum, the sun was setting. There were some breaks in the cloud deck to the north. The Museum buildings dominate the Gatineau shore here.
The bridge has lanes for traffic between Gatineau and Ottawa, with a pedestrian section as well.
