Dark Lords And Dwarves

I saw the third film in The Hobbit trilogy last night. Inspiration led me to add Middle Earth memes to this photograph I took of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill.

Incidentally, if Prime Minister Harper ever sees these, so much for any chance at a cushy appointment. Oh well, more's the pity.

  3. I look forward to the third part of The Hobbit. In a few days will be with us in cinemas. LOTR is one of the most beautiful stories. It is the story of The Hobbit, which I love.
    I envy you that you've seen the last part.

    memes great :)

  7. Very funny! You might wish to check your car for wee GPS gadgets and remember to look around for funny vans following you and for cars parked outside your house, and if the back hairs on your neck stand up, duck into an alley quickly!

  8. Harper is Sauron?

    Oh, this is even better than what you described in your email!

  9. Not all who wander are lost.... one of my favorite quotes. Thanks for reminding me! Very creative.

  10. When I saw the beginning of the post I wasn't expecting this. You're right on when it comes to Harper and his evil Govt.

  14. @Cloudia: well I'm already cornering the world market on coal in my stocking this year!

    @Denise: thank you!

    @Peter: Newfoundland would be a delight!

    @Revrunner: thanks!

    @Tomas: I go when something appeals to me.

    @Mariusz: it was really good.

    @Dina: at least until Lord Harper passes the removal of freedoms act!

    @Jan: thank you!

  15. @Beth: yes, I use imgflip meme generator. It's very easy to add memes to a pic.

    @Tex: I can't wait for the next election to see the Tories get drummed out of office.

    @Lowell: a couple of years back I wrote a parody of A Christmas Carol in my writer's blog casting Harper as Scrooge.

    @Norma: it seemed appropriate!

    @Janis: thank you!

    @Red: I am a conservative who can't vote Conservative, and at the rate things are going, I never will. I wonder if it occurs to Harper and his cabal that such a sentiment might be more widespread among people that consider themselves conservatives.

    @MB: I'd be in serious trouble!

    @Stuart: thank you!

    @Sharon: thanks!

    @Tamago: I did. I'll be reviewing it over in my writer's blog sometime between Christmas and New Years.

    @VP: thanks!

    @EG: you're welcome!

  18. My mom saw it too. In 3D, she enjoyed it a lot. Me? I'm waiting for streaming video and just make a weekend of it all.

  19. @RedPat: naturally. The man doesn't have a sense of humour, after all!

    @Ciel: you're most welcome!

    @Cheryl: thanks!

    @Randy: it's a good one!

    @Whisk: I didn't see it in 3D. I can't stand 3D.

  20. I think Red Pat's right. No more Christmas cards for you...and likely no cheesy calendar, either.
    So: was the third installment worth the wait? The previews look good.

  21. Hehe. Great sense of humour. We're looking forward to seeing the new movie but probably not until it comes out on DVD and we'll buy it.
