Wreath

This wreath hangs outside the Lord Lansdowne retirement home in the Glebe. I've shown it before, but I like the simplicity of the wreath.

  3. It doesn't need anymore, William, the simplicity does it!

  4. I agree, pomp does not look attractive.

  5. We need one like this for our front door. Well, that's what my wife thinks. And the red wreaths hanging on the light post and garage lights have faded to orange. And I don't care! :)

  6. @Linda: it's pleasing to the eye.

    @Tomas: indeed.

    @Stefan: that's true.

    @Jan: simplicity aside, it's a rather big wreath.

    @Revrunner: yes, that stylized L appeals to me.

    @Marianne: it is.

    @Mariusz: it doesn't.

    @Lowell: we tended to have one for our front door as long as I can recall.

  10. It's beautiful. I really like simple wreaths and garland lately. Just pretty greens with a simple red bow. So pretty.

  11. That's a large one. We had to buy a new one this year so I found one that was completely different from the last one.

  13. This is quite noticeable in spite of all the buzz in the background.

  19. @EG: thanks!

    @Tex: I'll have to photograph the fence line in full. It's not a very wide fence, just really provides a bit of a gateway for an oval driveway entrance.

    @Sharon: it certainly works well that way.

    @Karl: I certainly thought so.

    @VP: thanks!

    @Birdman: quite a play on words!

    @Norma: it is.

    @Luis: indeed!

    @Krisztina: the two colours work well together.

    @Joseph: thank you.

    @Judy: there's no problem finding them here.

  20. @Lauren: I thought so!

    @Jen: thanks!

    @Tammie: thank you.

    @Stuart: yes, we're getting closer!

    @Kay: there's a huge one on the government conference center that they have to put up with electric hoists.

    @Red: it does stand out.

    @Ciel: thanks!

    @Tanya: in this case, definitely!

    @RedPat: thank you!

    @Marleen: they mix together so well.

    @Salim: um... well, okay, if that's the way you feel...

    @Hilary: it's quite a nice building... I've not photographed it before, but I have photographed the senior's center it's connected to.

    @Whisk: me too.
