Christ The Saviour Orthodox Church is found in Chinatown in the downtown core. It has its roots in two parishes, one dating back to the First World War era, the second dating back to the 1980s. The current building was erected in the late 1960s by the first parish. The parishes merged in 2003 and worship here in this beautiful sanctuary, quite different from Catholic and Protestant designs. I have been inside during Doors Open. If the church is taking part this year, I'll have to stop in.
