Picking up where I left off yesterday, another pair of views from Leamy Lake Park take in the Ottawa River and the Rideau Falls on the far shore.
Carrying on, the path takes us to a bridge crossing over the second of the secondary channels of the Gatineau River.
The path carries on, through dense woodlands.
So beautiful and soothing, William!ReplyDelete

Interesting how the piers remain but no longer seem to be providing support for the new bridge.ReplyDelete
That bridge is very impressive and I love those ferns in the last two photos. I can almost smell the fresh air.ReplyDelete
Oh I like ending up in the greenery, William!ReplyDelete
It looks as if you were the only person in the park!ReplyDelete
@Marleen: a very big network!ReplyDelete
@Lois: the bridge was a pleasant surprise.
@Revrunner: yes, I checked the shot, and it's marked on the sign that they left the original piers in place in order to keep the river undisturbed.
@Sharon: it was a very good day.
@Cloudia: I do as well.
@RedPat: I know, I try not to photograph people when I can get away with it in a place like this. There was a boat in the first couple of shots, but it's not really visible unless you're really looking.
A great place to walk around and explore. I love that bridge too. Very nice photos!ReplyDelete
