Here we have more of the Christmas decorations in the Chateau Laurier today.
A side corridor in this hallway is flanked by nutcrackers.

ReplyDeleteIt's pretty nice, but luckily our Christmas decorations are a lot less lavish.
ReplyDeleteThe nutcracker was invented in Germany out of a romance in the 18th century. Now it's part of the Chritmas decoration. The trees are beautiful ! I am happy that it is over and it even went very well !

i wonder if these nutcrackers were made like the ones i have seen most recently ...they really are not that hard to make. or it appears so. but i don't think or know if i would want to use them every year. ( ;
