On A Frozen Lake

Emerging from the bend as the Canal widens into Dow's Lake, I took this shot looking towards the east. Commissioners Park curls around the east and north sides of the lake. Tulips are resting in their beds beneath the snow in that park.

Another look back at the final stretch of the skateway, and I carried on.

This view looking north on the lake gives us Little Italy. Not so little anymore, with condos being put up and densifying the neighbourhood.

I prefer the Arboretum.

For me, the last stretch was ahead.

  17. Not many people about and it sure does look cold without the sun shining.

  20. Boy, I bet that's brisk when the wind blows through -- not a lot of protection there, is it?!
