Moon And Gaia

I continue on today, with two more shots taken from within the Arctic Gallery.


Stepping out, I looked up at the scale model of the Moon that occupies the Queens Lantern.


Looking through the glass walls gives us views around to the north, east, and west. This structure, as modern as it is, seems to work well with the more traditional style of the building.

Gaia hangs inside the central atrium.

  10. I'm glad I got to see the moon when it visited the Desert Botanical Garden. Now I wish the there was a traveling version of the world.

    1. I think there still is. The artist made several of each. This museum is among the few locations that have made them part of the collection.
