Back to Winterlude today. On the last weekend of the festival, I was back on Sparks Street to photograph more ice sculptures, both in day and evening conditions, which we'll see down the line. In between to kill time, I stopped off for a bite to eat. Then I came back out, and found a busker at work. Sparks Street hosts Buskerfest in the summer, and this year for Winterlude, there were a couple of stages set up. I only really caught her act. Bex In Motion, as she bills herself, is an acrobat whose specialty is playing with fire.
Fire shows are always fascinating to watch. She lit up a hula hoop and started playing with that.
More from her act tomorrow.
Fire knife dancing is a competition among Polynesians. This lady looks very good. Thank you. Aloha
