Frozen Splendour

Each time I visited Sparks Street during Winterlude, these frozen wolves, painted as if we're viewing them via thermal imaging, caught my eye.

More ice sculptures down the street- these two being a pair of Ice Hogs.

And a new one carved for the last weekend. This chair with dramatic wings for photo ops. Tomorrow we'll start off with close up looks at those wings.

  5. The last time I heard the call of wolves in the wild was, in fact, on a backpacking trip along the Bay of Fundy.

  12. I like how they are different colours - makes them stand out and the last ones look like bat wings that would be perfect for Halloween.
