Barns

Continuing where I left off yesterday, here's one wing of the Small Animals Barn at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum.

This is the Horse and Cattle Barn.

Aside from horses and cattle inside, some other animals- including rabbits.

In winter and in early spring, depending on the weather, the livestock get some time out in the barnyard adjacent to the barn. This horse was waiting for that.

The collection includes a retired horse from the RCMP Musical Ride.

This is him.

Three turkeys share this space- a tom and two hens.

Their neighbours are ducks.

  4. Big horse! They have an impressive presence when I see them walking the main streets of Toronto. More powerful than the cars that pass them by.
