I start today where I left off yesterday, with these two close up shots of the wings of that ice sculpture. The carvers must have done something to bring out this quality in the ice, as it was obviously a fresh sculpture.
Further along, this ice chair for posing on. No, I did not sit down.
One of the Ice Hogs was walking my way.
A little while later, after killing some time with a bite to eat, I came back out onto Sparks Street. It was sufficiently dark that the coloured spotlights on the sculptures would be coming out in full.
I am guessing you would have a hard time staying the night at the Jukkasjärvi ice hotel!
