Snow Sculptures, Big Chairs, And Zip Lines

Two more views to start out today with that big snow sculpture.

The biggest thing in the park is a large sloping snow slide, seen here in the distance, with multiple lanes and accessibility from either side.

This makes the ideal photo op.

Actual playground equipment, no doubt here through the year, is seen nearby.

This is one of a couple of Muskoka style chairs in the park- this one being very much oversized. Three kids were sitting together on it posing for shots before I got a chance to photograph it by itself.

There was something else I didn't notice last year- a maze set up, with mesh mounted on frames providing the infrastructure for it all. I had a go through it.

Overhead here are zip lines, another tradition at Winterlude.

I've done this before, but am content to document.

  7. We take the kids to playgrounds with zip lines and they love it. I think they bring out the children in many of us.
