Snow Slides And The Ice Hogs

This trio of wood sculptures caught my eye.

More of the snow slides.

This is another of the oversized Muskoka chairs in Jacques Cartier Park.

The Ice Hogs are the mascots of Winterlude, seen often at the various sites. A family of oversized groundhogs, they're a long tradition of the festival, and kids love them. I'll be back on the Ottawa side of the river tomorrow to continue this series.

  1. Yoy need someone sitting on the chairs to see how big they really are. I think I have taken my last Winter photo of the season, a week ago. Might post them on the blog in a day or two, but then again, you newer know!

    1. Mostly it's little kids who sit on the chairs, and I try to avoid photographing children facing the camera.

  4. Trio of wood sculptures. I can see a bear, bald eagle and a heron? Would love to see them in real life as the wood looks beautiful.
