Magic Within The Ice Sculptures
Here we have some of the finished sculptures from Winterlude 2018. I'm pausing this retrospective for the next three days, and continuing on with it after the beginning of the month.
...what skill and artistry.
ReplyDeleteIt must be so sad when they melt.
ReplyDeleteThe sculptures are just amazing pieces of art.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
They have outdone themselves this time, can't pick one that stands out from the rest in this selection.
ReplyDeleteThat third one is quite something!
ReplyDelete@Tom: indeed.
ReplyDelete@Iris: they are short lived.
@Eileen: thank you.
@Gemel: they were good.
@Marie: I think so.
They are all so beautiful. The judges will have a difficult time if it was a competition.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing and magical ~ great photos,
ReplyDeleteWishing you love and laughter in all your days,

aka (A Creative Harbor)
Amazing work! Well documented.
ReplyDeleteThe detail they can get out of ice is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou've covered this well!
ReplyDelete@Nancy: and these were competitive.
ReplyDelete@Carol: thank you.
@Magiceye: thanks.
@RedPat: I agree.
@Jeanie: a pleasure doing so.
Masterpieces indeed.
ReplyDeleteNice header!!
I like that fellow sitting on top of the wall in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteThe artists have such great talent to carve these beautiful art sculptures.
ReplyDeleteMagical! Tweeted.
ReplyDeleteEs mágica, las obras de ese gran escultor de la nieve.
ReplyDelete@Catarina: thank you.
ReplyDelete@Sharon: I do too.
@Bill: that they do.
@Mari: thank you.
@Ventana: thanks.
These really are amazing. Thanks for taking and reporting them! I enjoyed them!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteI like the contrast between your header (and hope) and the icy blast from the past, the sculptures!
ReplyDeleteAnd we'll be seeing a lot more of the ice to come. I'll still be in this retrospective in May.
DeleteThe battle scenes are interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.
