A Ramble Through The Park

I start today with backlit fall colours in Little Italy one morning.

On another day early in the month, I was heading to Major's Hill Park. This view, from the top of a staircase alongside the Chateau Laurier, takes in Parliament Hill, the Bytown Museum, and the Rideau Canal.

While these two were taken along the terrace heading for the park.

Ivy on the wall here has been turning red. Trees in the park loom above.

The Connaught Building is seen in the background here. It's headquarters for the Canada Revenue Agency. My Canadian readers, your tax dollars go through there.

Three things in life are certain: death, taxes, and the Toronto Maple Leafs screwing up when it really counts.

Here we have a view of the Chateau.

The American embassy is in the background here.

One can see the Library of Parliament nestled here among the trees.

One more shot for today. We'll carry on in the park tomorrow.

  3. Funny. Just tried to get my tax-lady for a delay! Hope she does not get red in anger as the tree...

  5. I have yet to see much orange here. That seems to come later than, say, shades of yellow and red.
