A World Where There Are Octobers

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." - Anne Shirley, Anne of Green Gables

A few blocks from home I took these two shots of the same spot, with fall colours up the street.

This is the south side of Dundonald Park.

One day passing through Little Italy I took this shot.

This was taken in McNabb Park in Centretown.

A few blocks up, I took this shot.

Dundonald Park again, on the north side. This is taken from the west end.

And this is from the east end looking west.

A couple of days later, this was the view in the park looking west.

For today I finish with these two close ups of one tree in the park, taken on different days. Hallowe'en is tomorrow, but I'll be back in with this series after that as part of my theme day post.

  3. October is the best time for colours also here in Finland. In Italy it is November.

  8. William - I couldn't agree more! We are in the UK at the moment, and the countryside with its patchwork of greens, reds and golds is stunning!
